- Location Data: To provide accurate wind forecasts and route analysis, we access your device's GPS location. This data is used only for real-time calculation and is not stored on our servers.
- Strava Data: If you choose to connect your Strava account, we access your ride activities (distance, duration, date) to provide maintenance predictions. This data is synced locally to your device.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance and stability.
- Subscription Data: Payment processing is handled by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment card information.
3. Permissions We Request
PedalCast requests the following permissions to function correctly:
- Location Services: Required to fetch WeatherKit data for your current position and for route analysis features.
- Strava Account Access: Optional, used to automatically sync your rides for chain maintenance tracking.

We use the information to:

Your routes, maintenance history, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not maintain a central database of your personal ride history. We implement standard security measures to protect the integrity of the application.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access the data stored in the app and delete your data at any time by removing the application or clearing its data. Since we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over your information.
